Programme Manager
Ruth was a BA in Ancient and Modern History and is currently studying for a coaching qualification.
She joined the CPI team in 2021.
Prior to CPI, Ruth worked at Family Support – an organisation that provided early help support to families in an area of west London. She supported staff to think about how they could work in a more trauma-informed way and consider the impact of child brain development in their work. Prior to this, she worked for nearly 10 years at the NSPCC supporting innovation to prevent child abuse and neglect. This role was highly varied and involved designing new services, research, developing campaigns and policy work.
Ruth is particularly passionate about the work CPI does with communities and our relational work with organisations in the UK. She enjoyed working with the University of Nottingham Rights Lab, where the team worked with researchers and a group of survivors of modern slavery and pracititioners to redesign what the system of support for survivors could look like. Their role in CPI was to facilitate shared sensemaking from the research data and to support codesign sessions.
