Lidya Stamper (she/her/hers)

Senior Associate

Lidya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, both from the University of Redlands. She furthered her academic career with a Master of Science in Social Research Methods from the London School of Economics

As a Fulbright Fellow, Lidya conducted extensive research in South Africa, where legal frameworks support SRHS but significant barriers — such as poor policy implementation, socioeconomic challenges, and medical xenophobia — hinder access for marginalized populations. Her work highlighted the need for nuanced, intersectional approaches to health service delivery.

In addition, Lidya has contributed to policy and budgetary initiatives aimed at advancing racial equity in King County, Washington. Following the 2020 declaration of racism as a public health crisis, she collaborated with community organizations and grassroots leaders to inform anti-racist policies and infrastructure improvements.

Passionate about amplifying marginalised voices in policy making and public service design, Lidya advocates for collaborative approaches that include policymakers, public servants, and those with lived experience.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in nature, whether it’s camping, backpacking, or cycling in the mountains.
