Program Manager, North America
Katie graduated from Tufts University in 2017 after studying Arabic and International Relations. She also recently completed an eight week course through the Service Design College on Systems Design for Managing Complexity.
She joined the CPI team in 2020.
In Katie’s previous role at BMNT, she helped to build an innovation training program for government employees and developed a methodology for evaluating early-stage government innovation projects.
Her focus is on the intersection of design, equity, and resiliency to create new strategies of community empowerment in city government. Katie is interested in how cities can better engage residents, particularly historically underinvested residents, through human-centered and systems design.
At CPI, she has gotten to pursue these interests by supporting Bloomberg i-teams to create their innovation strategies and innovation track cities in building programs that centre residents at every step.
In her leisure time, Katie enjoys thrifting and antiquing, reading fiction and memoirs, gardening, and being involved in her DC community.
