Joselyn Secker (she/her/hers)

Global Manager, Finance and Grants Administration

Joselyn was awarded a BSc in Economics and International Studies from the University of Birmingham, an MA in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African studies and a CMgr from the Chartered Management Institute, Prince 2 Practitioner. 

Joselyn joined the CPI team in 2024.

Joselyn then went on to establish a consultancy to provide business solutions to INGOs and grassroots civil society organisations. She led teams of finance and operations staff to transform procurement practices and have transparency in grant finances whilst based at the Halo Trust regional offices in the Horn of Africa.

Joselyn also supported two innovative female leaders heading up a mental health and mindfulness non-profit in Guatemala, to establish grant finance procedures. 

She is interested in the CPIE initiative with Google on the AI opportunity fund, particularly the objective of the fund in supporting underserved communities through non-profit partnerships to deliver transformation via learning and up-skilling. She will be working closely with the project team to look at procedures and support for partner recipients of the fund.

In her leisure time, Joselyn enjoys yoga, weight training and going for mindful walks whenever she can fit them in. She absolutely loves arranging dinners and parties to bring people together and have a laugh.
