Gabrielle was awarded a Masters of Science (MSc) from the London School of Economics, LLB/BA from Victoria University of Wellington, PRINCE2 Project Management Practitioner, Cynara Gender Training Certificate on Feminist Facilitation Pedagogies

She joined the CPI team in 2024.

Gabrielle ran a small pro-bono legal charity where she said the highlights include working with Maasai communities in Kenya on land rights, meeting on global extractives tax issues at the UN Geneva, supporting journalistic freedoms and anti-corruption actions.

She also worked for the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Thailand.

Gabrielle is proud that she has worked in so many different places and contexts: Asia, Pacific, Africa, Europe; with governments, community groups, businesses, and volunteers. 

At CPI she is passionate about work surrounding systemic climate action, particularly climate financing and the potential for inclusive social imagination practices to change our futures. Gabrielle is currently working on implementing CPI’s Systemic Financing Architecture work for implementing climate action plans in cities.

In her leisure time, Gabrielle enjoys hiking, being in the ocean, listening to podcasts, and spending time with friends and whānau (family).
