Carla Williams (she/her/hers)

Interim Global Manager, People & Culture

Carla received a Masters (M.A) in International Disaster Psychology from the University of Denver. She studied Global Mental health Systems, International Public Health, Program Evaluation, and Career Counseling.

She joined the CPI team in 2022.

Carla worked for Arlington County (volunteer first and then paid) at a COVID testing site in 2020 to provide testing for underserved communities,

At CPI, she is passionate about DEIB, Policies and Procedures, research, and surveying.

She really likes working with people and supporting others to use CPI policies to enhance people’s wellbeing in the workplace. Examples of projects Carla has worked on include: developing travel and safety guidelines prior to our India offsite which will be adopted to a formal travel safety guidance to the greater organisation. She also developed a staffing database for CPIE to help create a more established way for us to track individual and team capacity within the team.

Finally, she also co-authored the CPI grievance and complaint policy along with the rest of the People and Culture team.

In her leisure time, Carla enjoys spending time with her friends and family, travelling,  and spending time outside (camping, hiking, volleyball).
