Anognya (she/her)

Programme Manager, CPI Asia

Anognya was awarded a Bachelor of Arts, Global Studies and Economics and at Colby College, USA, and a Masters in Public Policy at the National Law School of India University, India.

She joined the CPI team in 2022.

Anognya aspires to reimagine governance dynamics in India by building partnerships between governments and citizens while fostering collaboration within government structures. She is passionate about working with diverse stakeholders to drive collective change. Anognya says that this transformation can be visualised through storytelling, impact evaluations, and intersectional and participatory approaches that elevate citizen voices and dismantle silos.

Her experience spans social welfare, impact evaluations, adult learning for government officials, accountability infrastructures, and public-private partnership models for welfare delivery.

At CPI, Anognya has collaborated with a major philanthropy in Asia to identify, articulate, and amplify its climate initiatives in India, with a deep focus on marginalised and vulnerable communities. This work emphasised a people-centred approach, enabling collaborations and investments in programs, policies, and individuals addressing the complex intersections of climate, gender, food, health, energy, and livelihoods.

In her leisure time, Anognya loves walking and described herself as a “serial walker”.
